The Summer Reading Program schedule is also on the Children's Page. |  | Renovation News: Renovations have begun. Check out the Lighthouse Librarian Blog tab on this page to view pictures. During Library hours, all access will be through a temporary door that has been added on the south side of the building. When the Library is not open, the best access door will be on the east side of the building through a basement door on the south east corner of the main building (see photo below). Signs are in place to direct people to the lobby and gym from there. Temporary Door for basement:

You can use the calendar to see the events planned at the Library, Community House and eventually around town. The Harbor Beach Area District Library owns and operates the Community House. The Community House has rooms, including a gymnasium available for members of the community to rent. Please click on the "Rental" button on the left hand side of this page for more information.
