We have a new display in the foyer by the main building entry that we will use to recognize and thank people and organizations who support our Library and Community House with financial donations.

      Downloadable Audio Books:  

Have you tried audio books?  Some people recommend listening to them during long car rides, while taking a walk or while cleaning the house.  Downloadable books are free and can be downloaded to a portable device such as an iPod or listened to  from your home computer.  Click this link to go to our FuelYourMind.org downloadable audio book collection.

Many of your questions can be answered at the web site but if you have additional questions, please ask a Library staff person.

TumbleBooks

Go to the Children's Page and click the link to TumbleBooks.  It is a fun way for children to experience books.  There are two links, one for picture books for young children and one for chapter books for kids through middle school age. 

 Lighthouse Library Blog

The Library now has a blog.  Check out the Lighthouse Librarian tab on the left side of this page.  Read about upcoming programs, book reviews, movie reviews and more.  The blog is interactive - you can add comments or ask questions about the articles.

Instructions for Searching our Calalog for specific types of materials: 

Did you know that you can search on-line to see what books, DVDs, audiobooks and music CDs we have in the libraries collection?  Click on the tab at the left that says "Library Catalog" to start your search. 

We are frequently asked if you can search our catalog to see only our DVDs or only our audiobooks, etc.  Click on this button to see an example of how  to search for only books on CD or DVDs :
